The Early Years

Magnolia Nursery provides a healthy and inclusive environment to develop the overall mind of a child holistically.

We believe there are several reasons parents choose us. We provide a loving, safe and secure environment so that all the children we care for:-

Have fun and are happy
Become confident and independent
Make friends and develop their social skills
Enjoy the freedom of playing and exploring outdoors
Learn and develop within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
Prepare for the move to the school
Parent Partnership

Each child is cared for individually and as parents know their children best, we work in partnership with parents to get to know the children. We tailor their care and aim to follow their routines from
home e.g. sleep and feeding routines. We believe it is imperative for a nursery to maintain a home routine whilst integrating early years nursery care and education.

At Magnolia we want to support children in the best possible way and we understand that every child may do things at different ages and stages. We work with parents to share information on what you know about your child
in the Prime and Specific Areas of Learning within the EYFS curriculum.

Excellent Outdoor Space for children to explore and develop in.

Environment plays a key role is supporting the children’s development and learning.

Our Curriculum

Magnolia Nursery follows the British Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, we follow best practices from different early years education. Our Staff realizes that every child is different; no two children are alike, even if they come from the same family, thus diversifying our curriculum, holding no boundaries for our children to explore and learn.

About EYFS

The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) sets standards for the learning, development and care of children from birth to 5 years old. All schools and Ofsted-registered early years providers must follow the EYFS, including childminders, preschools, nurseries and school reception classes.

Social, Emotional and self development

Our staff encourages children by developing a positive relationship enabling the child to become independent and self confident, helping the child build their equations with peers and adults. We truly believe social, emotional and self development is critical for young children in all areas of learning and development.
